Rony T. Elias, MD, FACOG, is a 2002-graduate of The American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon. His postgraduate training in the United States includes his obstetrics and gynecology residency served at The George Washington University (GWU) School of Medicine in Washington, DC (2002-2007), as well as his minimally invasive gynecological surgery fellowship performed at GWU (2007-2008) and his reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship conducted at Weil Cornel Medical College (2008-2011). Dr. Elias completed his undergraduate education, i.e. his Bachelor of Science degree, at the American University of Beirut in 1998. He attained board certification in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Furthermore, he has been honored with Patients Choice Award (2008) and induction into the Eta Kappa Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity at State University of San Diego (2004 – Present). He is a member of several professional societies and associations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, which allows him to remain at the forefront of his challenging field.
